Ministries under Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion:

 • Homebound Visitation

 • Hospital Ministry

Duties: Assist priest and deacons in distributing the Eucharist, cleaning vessels after Mass. Take the Eucharist to and pray with Homebound parishioners, hospital patients and nursing home residents regularly.  Assist in the distribution of other materials (prayer cards, brochures, etc.).

Time: One Mass or more every month (arrive 15 minutes before Mass), attend three initial training sessions and ongoing formation sessions as needed.  Members visit hospital and nursing homes according to the parish schedule

Special Skills: Love and reverence for the Eucharist, ease in public settings, Catholic in good standing who has received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist), must be a member of the Parish.
